Mit diesem Sneaker geht es stylish durch den Großstadtdschungel. Der NMD_R1 basiert auf einem gefeierten Archiv-Laufschuh aus den 80ern und garantiert mit seiner sockenähnlichen Konstruktion und dem Knit-Obermaterial einen sicheren Sitz am Fuß. Die Boost Dämpfung verleiht dir lang anhaltenden Komfort und Energie und Power für deinen Tag. Außerdem sorgen die typischen Elemente an der Zwischensohle für ein stylishes Finish. Der lässige Colourway macht das Ganze perfekt.
Der NMD feierte am 9. Dezember 2015 mit einem speziellen Launch-Event in New York City ein relativ unauffälliges Debüt. Aufbauend auf dem beispiellosen Erfolg des UltraBOOST, das neue adidas Design – gesteuert von adi VP of Global Design, Nic Galway – gelungen, die Flaggschiff Primeknit und BOOST-Technologien des deutschen Sportswear-Riesen zu nehmen, und paaren sie mit Design Hinweise von Three Stripes Klassiker wie der Boston Super, Rising Star und Micropacer. Das Ergebnis war die perfekte Mischung aus Alt und Neu und eine relative Besonderheit im Vergleich zu einigen der beliebtesten Schuhe des letzten Jahrzehnts.
